Just Started tracking drums for Adam's Road 3rd CD.
Sonny Abelardo (manager for Toto, Fourplay, Steve Lukather....) is producing Kai Abelardos' new CD. Jessie Carraballo (drummer for Marc Anthony) played drums and Rohan Reid played bass.
Larry Hoppen, Singer/Guitar player with the band "Orleans" (Dance with Me, Still the One....) just finished a new Christmas song with Randy Nichols Coproducing.
Omar Covington just got signed to Capital records and is working on several projects.
We've finished mixing Adam's Road 2nd CD and
we took it to Skylab Studios in Gainesville for Mastering
with Gerry King who did an extraordinary job!

We have finished the sound track for the "Tunupa" show. The CD was mastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering and will be released shortly.
The Owner, Cesar Aedo of Aedo Productions, Inc. produced and starred in the first version of the show "Flight of the Condor" which had great success at Seaworld for 5 years. The new version is going to be a much more involved show and will be twice as long. It's going to be an independent show without ties to, or constraints from, any of the areas theme parks or attractions. The theme of the show is based on Peruvian mythology and history. If you've ever seen a Cirque De Soleil show, believe it when I say - this is better!
The shows composers are Peruvian and the arranger is from New York with many Broadway and Vegas credits to her name. We went to Peru in April to record the music tracks using the native indian instruments and rythms, but with a contemporary infusion of current instruments and sounds as well. After 2 weeks of recording, I've got the tracks back here in the studio and am working on the mixes. The CD should be finished by the end of May. Go to the bottom of the page to check out some MP3's.
I will also be designing and installing the sound system for the show. It's going to be a state of the art, 5.1 system. .
We spent a week in the mountains before going in to the studios to record. Here are a few pictures:
The engineer (Jose) at this studio (Kazoo Audio) in Lima was the recording engineer for a project for Sony Records-Peru about 5 years ago. The band was named "La Liga" and they recorded their tracks in Lima, and then came to my studio here for the mixing. It was so funny when I walked in his studio to record string parts for this new project and he was there...what a small world! Even stranger was when I was in the mountains, I heard a song on the radio and thought that it sounded familiar, but kept saying to myself that I couldn't possibly have heard it before, yet it I kept listening, and finally realized it was from the La Liga record we had done together 5 years ago. It was cool to hear my work on the radio in another country! Here's a sample MP3 from this record: "El Amor"
